day thirty-one…Ryan v. Ventura

Happy Birthday to Nolan Ryan!  This is probably one of the most famous fights in Major League Baseball history, the fight between Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura.  I might add that both of these players were New York Mets at some point in their career; Ryan as a member of the 1969 “Miracle” Mets that won the world series.  Now that I’m residing in Texas, I can proudly say I’m glad Ryan’s only championship was with the Amazins.  Ya gotta believe!
